A practice is found locally when its Google profile and website say exactly which services it offers, where it is and when it can be reached. Google orders local results by relevance, distance and prominence, and reviews count towards prominence. Two things are special for practices: advertising is limited by the German Healthcare Advertising Act (HWG), and confidentiality also applies when replying to reviews.
What do patients search for?
Whoever looks for a new practice does not know its name yet. They search for a specialty, a treatment or a place. More and more often with AI too: according to Bitkom, half of internet users in Germany use an AI chat instead of a classic search engine at least sometimes.
So give every important service a page of its own, with place and procedure, and list the same services in the Google profile.

What belongs in a practice's Google profile?
The right specialty as category, consulting hours, phone number, website and, if you have one, the link to online booking. Add photos of entrance, reception and rooms so that patients recognise the practice.
Also state whether the practice is accessible without steps. Google names complete and accurate details as the basis for a good local ranking.

What may a practice website promise?
Advertising for healthcare professions is limited by the Healthcare Advertising Act and your chamber's professional code. Promises of healing and of a certain treatment success do not belong on the website.
Describe factually instead what you offer, how a treatment works and who carries it out. When in doubt, ask your chamber.

How do I reply to reviews without breaching confidentiality?
Never confirm in a reply that someone was treated by you, and give no details. A general, friendly reply and the offer of a personal conversation are enough.
Ask all patients alike for a review and offer nothing for it. Google's policies forbid asking only happy patients and giving rewards.

How do I see whether patients find the practice?
Track the search terms patients should find you by, and regularly ask an AI about practices of your specialty in your town.
Agentiq Visibility does that every day: depending on the tier with 25 to 400 search terms on Google and 50 to 400 questions a day to AI systems.

Frequently asked questions
May a practice advertise at all?
Yes, within limits. Factual information about services, consulting hours and team is common. What exactly is allowed is set by the Healthcare Advertising Act and your professional code. This text is not legal advice.
Does a page per treatment help?
Yes, if every page really says something of its own: the procedure, who the treatment is for, what patients should bring. Pages that differ only in the town name help nobody.
Does Agentiq write the texts for my practice?
Agentiq Visibility writes expert articles for search engines and AI answers, 2 to 25 a month depending on the tier. If you want to see every article first, switch to “With approval”.
What does Agentiq Visibility cost?
Agent €99, Team €299 and Department €499 a month, net, plus VAT. The first 14 days are free, after that the contract can be cancelled monthly.
